About

Hey there, friend

Wondering why I care about health so much? Well, I’ve got a story to tell. One day in my tween years, I realized I couldn’t go up a short flight of stairs without stopping to take a breath. It wasn’t that I was out of shape, it was something else.

By the time I went to the doctor, we found the reason. What was supposed to be my blood was almost water. I had a severe case of Aplastic Anemia and at only 13 years of age was being told that my life may be cut short.

I was in and out of the hospital but luckily overcame that illness and proceeded with a normal life. But within myself, I battled with fear, sadness, uncertainty. What if this were to happen again?

And then something else happened.

This time it was worse and it wasn’t me. My sister got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and although we tried everything, she passed away on her 31st birthday.

Again I learned about how life can be so fleeting, and that poor health can rip it all away. And it’s not jut physical but emotional health as well. Depression, anxiety, and stress can be debilitating and ruin what otherwise could be a magical life

This is why I do the work I do.

Because I have felt the effects of poor health, I have witnessed the consequences of disease in others. I am here because I understand and care. I am here to make a difference for you.
